!16th International Showcase Music Festival in Special Edition
First and foremost, we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to pull off a festival this year. At a time when grief and pain strike us all over and over, we face a significant challenge when it comes to international guests.
We extend our gratitude for being able together with our partners to produce a rich music festival for the audience, to provide a place for the artists and the entire festival envelope to thrive, and to connect our group of guests to the Israeli music scene.
About the festival
Every November, the Yellow Submarine collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Cultural Relations and Information Division to bring dozens of music industry professionals to Israel, including festival managers, club owners, producers, artistic directors, record companies, journalists, broadcasters, and international talent hunters. They all come to Israel to get a taste of the Israeli music scene and to look for the next big names to lead and join into the global scene.
For many years, the International showcase festival has been regarded as one of the world’s greatest boutique showcases, as well as a prominent act in the international distribution of Israeli music.
The international music showcase Festival will kick off with a special opening event in Talpiot, in collaboration with the Israel Festival.
The shows in Jerusalem will take place at Yellow Submarine, Talpiot; Tower of David Museum; and the new Jerusalem Art Campus venue.
In tel aviv the shows will take place at the TEDER, 4TRESS (HaMivtzar) and HaMeretz 2 club, and at Ta Tarbut Da Vinci.
The International Music Showcase Festival is the result of the collaboration between Yellow Submarine – The Jerusalem Music Venue and the Department of Cultural Diplomacy at the Foreign Ministry.
The Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Foundation, and the Ministry of Culture and Sport all provided support for the festival.
