Pulkes is a Balkan–Klezmer band founded in Jerusalem in 2018.
The band’s mission is to bring these traditional musical styles to a wide audience by blending them with contemporary musical elements.
Pulkes has performed at major festivals around the world — from Afrique’d Nuit in Montreal and Le Festif! de la Baie in Saint-Paul, Quebec to the Sziget Festival in Hungary, and many more.
Their musical performance takes listeners on a mesmerizing Balkan journey that won’t let a single person stay seated.
