The trio formed and led by pianist and keyboardist Sharon Mansur, with bassist David Michaeli, and drummer Aviv Cohen unites the expressive spectrum of jazz with the energy and directness of rock and electronic music, as well as the vibrant palette of Middle Eastern music. Mansur has impressively absorbed all of those influences. She frequently performs as a DJ and keyboardist with her own electronic music, creates meditative, melodic solo piano sets, and plays on major stages with Middle Eastern rock and pop groups. Last June, the trio’s debut album was released on ACT.
