The Israel Music Showcase Festival in partnership with The Israel Festival and Eden – The Jerusalem Economic Development Company

The Israel Music Showcase Festival 2025 Opening Event

In the Talpiot industrial area – Yad Harutzim st. / Mavo Sam Spiegel

Tuesday, November 18th

“One Day This Will Be Paradise”

Dreams of a Shared Utopia

The Israel Music Showcase Festival, created by The Yellow Submarine in association with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is joining forces with the Israel Festival this year.

In the Talpiot industrial area, among the bakeries and auto garages, lie a number of hidden gems deserving of attention. One of them is the Mavo Sam Spiegel alley – a multi-story, broad industrial structure filled with intriguing and surprising spaces, lined with shops selling furniture, auto parts, signs and even ice cream. Historically this building was home to three of the city’s major art schools: Nissan Nativ acting studio, the School of Visual Theater, and the Sam Spiegel film school. Today, many artist studios occupy the building, alongside art institutions such as the KumKum theater, the Catamon dance group, Tarbut gallery, and more.

This year’s Showcase Festival will be exploring the building’s many spaces, presenting among its halls a selection of works featured in the Israel Festival (including some with English translation), that together compose an exciting adventure packed with emotion – big music shows, intimate performances, theater and gallery spaces, combining artistic disciplines throughout the venue. This event offers a musical and artistic experience crafted for your heart, ears, and feet – and is all yours to explore, inside and out.

The Israel Festival, now in its 64th consecutive year, has pioneered artistic excellence in Israel for decades. It is the place to observe new trends, creative worldviews, and unique artistic expression.

The festival operates from within a profound belief in meaningful artistic creation as a path to processing and healing, in hope that the works find their way into audiences’ hearts, and provide a unique space where we may observe everything happening in our world from a renewed perspective.

This year’s festival stems from the events taking place both around us and within. This August, alongside the central events in Jerusalem, special editions of the festival were held in the Upper Galilee – in Kiryat Shmona, at the Tel Hai Academic College, and in Majdel Shams; as well as in the Western Negev desert – in Ofakim, Urim and Kibbutz Tze’elim.

Afternoon #2: Tower of David Museum Jerusalem

Wednesday, November 11th

The Tower of David museum resides in one of Israel’s most important historical sites – the Tower of David Citadel. The museum recounts the tale of Jerusalem’s past in a unique, captivating and immersive manner.

Undoubtedly among the country’s most stunning sites, the Tower of David is located on the cusp separating between the old and new cities. Adjacent to Jaffa Gate, the citadel invites visitors to a breathtaking experience, through the spaces scattered around the grounds, the rooftop view of the old city and off toward the Dead Sea, as well as the various paths and hidden caves strewn throughout.

The Tower of David Museum also takes an active role in the city’s cultural and artistic landscape, hosting and creating events, exhibitions and festivals on its premises.

Showcase continues its long-standing collaboration with the Tower of David, for an afternoon on the citadel grounds. Ancient traditions come together, combining to create a unique bond.

At the heart of the citadel, we host three exhilarating performances that form a special cross-cultural blend, uniting the Middle East with the Balkans, Spain, Yemen, all glazed with an Israeli finish.

“4TRESS” An intimate art experience - 22.11

Israel Music Showcase Festival 2025

Afternoon #5 “4TRESS”

An intimate art experience

Saturday, Nov. 22nd

Earlier this year, in a 4-story Southern Tel Aviv building, appeared a phenomenon known as 4TRESS – an apex collaboration between two groups of artists, one hailing from a visual and fine art background, the other from the realm of music and nightlife. The two joined forces to create a palace of culture, a home for artistic initiatives that regularly serves up a menu of art, concerts, conceptual events, dance parties, festivals, exhibitions, pop-up shops, as well as a bar and café. 4TRESS is a unique new spot where artists and creators, cultural connoisseurs and partygoers all come together to forge an exciting new alternative cultural venue.

The Israel Music Showcase Festival, following the rightfully-earned buzz, is arriving on the scene to inaugurate the space, opening the 4TRESS doors to the public for an intimate afternoon packed with tours of the crossroads where reality meets art.

SOL MONK | Ainsley Silver & Presher | Ron Magril Trio

Three groups will set the musical tone, while a number of artists showcase their works from the past two years throughout the building. This time, we encounter harsh reality through the prism of artistic vision – in installation, movement, thought, words, sound, and laughter.

Artist Installation: Bar From

In this immersive performance, the artist exposes the innate fragility of the human body, along with its vitality and wonder.

Automatic Typing: Ilai Ashdot and Friends

Intuitive, automatic typing; a personal journal torn wide open for all to see. Four artists will deconstruct emotion and thought from their surroundings and from within, in the form of ceaseless typing.

Laughing in the Face of Reality: Noam Shuster Eliassi

Shuster-Eliassi is an Israeli comedian and activist, who performs in Hebrew, English and Arabic. She bravely raises questions surrounding identity, belonging, and peace, while reminding us that difficult subjects can be tackled with humor, compassion, and truth.

Machine Plays on Human: Guy Moses

A piece written for drums and keyboards, video art, a human body, a computer, an audience and a textual prompt.

Following an ongoing dialogue between artist Guy Moses and Claude, an AI assistant engine, a collection of improvisational pieces was created, each conducted and led by Claude’s instructions – creating a space for collaborative, spontaneous expression by the participating artists.

Musical Encounter and Discussion: Noam Tsuriely

Noam Tsuriely is the type of musician that brings an experiential sense back to music. In the space between piano music and Hip Hop, between emotion and electric energy, he masterfully scrawls the things we all feel but can’t put to words. With irresistible stage presence and lyrics that cut deep – Noam Tsuriely is not merely a promising artist, but already a phenomenon.
