Yaniv Shenzer: Windless – From Weapons to Musical Instruments
For several months in 2024, artist Yaniv Shenzer collected remnants of rockets fired at Israel. What he found, he took to his studio, where he carried out a transformative act on these pieces of metal – from weapons, they became musical instruments. Shenzer, an artist working between Jerusalem and Europe, created a series of wind chimes made entirely of rocket remnants. The installation was first presented in Sderot at the 2024 Israel Festival.
